La Salle Academy is a Catholic, independent, co-educational, college-preparatory school for grades 6 to 12 in Providence, Rhode Island, located at 612 Academy Avenue on a 29-acre campus in the Elmhurst neighbourhood. Founded in 1871, it belongs to the Lasallian network of about 1,000 schools in 80 countries and takes students from Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut and other countries.
The school has two divisions: De La Salle Middle School (grades 6-8, 205 students) and the high school (grades 9-12, 1,281 students). The student-teacher ratio is 11:1. Special programmes include:
- Academic Resource Center (coaching, mentoring and tutoring)
- Arts curriculum track from sophomore year
- Explorer Program for students with mild learning differences
- Freshman Transition Program
Students can join more than 60 clubs and activities and 30 varsity sports. Tuition for 2026-27 is listed separately for domestic and international students, with need-based aid and merit scholarships for high-school students. Applications for the 2027-28 school year are open.

Programmes
La Salle Academy has a middle school (De La Salle Middle School, grades 6-8) and a college-preparatory high school (grades 9-12). Special programmes:

Fees
Tuition for the 2026-27 academic year:
- Grades 6-8: US$16,650
- Grades 9-12: US$18,650
- International students: US$23,400
- Explorer Program (grades 9-12): US$7,750 in addition to tuition
Families pay through FACTS Tuition Management, in one, two, ten or eleven instalments.
Scholarships and financial aid
Need-based tuition assistance is available to high-school students (grades 9-12) through an application on FACTS Tuition Management, renewed every year; it is not available to middle-school or international students, and the school does not give full-tuition awards. La Salle also awards more than US$100,000 a year in merit scholarships to incoming 9th graders, based on the placement exam, ranging from US$1,500 to US$10,000 a year and renewable for four years. There are no athletic scholarships.
