UNILANG Español

Unilang Idiomas (UNILANG) is a language academy in Santander, Cantabria, founded in 1978. It teaches Spanish to foreigners as well as English. The centre is in the historic and commercial centre of the city, a three-minute walk from the town hall and two minutes from the cathedral, and has six classrooms, a study room with a library and wifi throughout. Classes are offered in person and online.

New students take a level test so that the course can be adapted to them. The school's director is first vice-president of FECEI, the Spanish federation of language teaching centres, coordinates the SIELE exam at the centre and is part of the team that organises Cambridge exams in Cantabria. Its senior teacher, who mainly teaches Spanish to foreigners and handles academic coordination, holds an official university master's degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. The school received the "FECEI TOP and Trinity College London for innovation" award for a project on language tourism in Cantabria.
