The Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB) is a Catholic university created by the Catholic Church and belonging to the Archdiocese of Medellín, Colombia. It has four campuses, in Medellín, Bucaramanga, Montería and Palmira; the Palmira campus is at Kilómetro 1 Vía Tienda Nueva. The university holds multi-campus institutional high-quality accreditation (Acreditación Institucional de Alta Calidad), granted by Colombia's Ministry of National Education in October 2024 for eight years.
