Aquinas American School is an independent Catholic school in the Monte Alina area of Pozuelo de Alarcón, near Madrid, that teaches an American curriculum preparing students for university in Spain or abroad. It was founded in 2012 and belongs to Mathema Educación, a group that also runs Atlas American School of Málaga and the International School of Navarra. The school has two campuses: PreK-8 on Calle Transversal Cuatro and the High School on Calle Poniente.
- Kindergarten: K1 to K3 (from age 3)
- Lower School: grades 1-5
- Middle School: grades 6-8
- High School: grades 9-12, with the IB Diploma or the American High School Diploma
The Lower School curriculum is based on a classical liberal arts education, with a strong emphasis on language. In High School, students choose between the IB Diploma and the American High School Diploma (AHSD), prepare for the SAT and for Spanish university entrance through the UNED, and complete 100 hours of volunteering. A college counsellor supports university applications. All pupils belong to a house that competes in sports and other activities.
Applications are made online; non-native English speakers applying for grades 7-12 must take the Duolingo English Test. Admissions for grades 1-12 are processed throughout the year.

The decision is sent in an official admission letter. Admissions for grades 1-12 run throughout the year, by application date and available places. Students who studied grades 7-11 abroad need apostilled or certified original documents.
Non-native English speakers applying for grades 7-12 must take the Duolingo English Test (DET). Minimum scores: 120 for grades 7-8, 130 for grades 9-10 and 135 for grades 11-12.
