Kensington School is a private British school in Pozuelo de Alarcón, northwest of Madrid, founded in 1968 and one of the early British schools in Spain. It is a member of Inspired Education Group, an international group of private schools. Native-speaking teachers deliver the UK and Spanish curricula, and pupils learn English, Spanish and French.

The school takes children from 18 months (with a toddler class for ages 1-2) to 18:

  • Nursery (18 months to 5 years)
  • Primary (ages 5-11)
  • Secondary (ages 11-16), with IGCSE and Spanish 3rd and 4th of ESO
  • Baccalaureate (ages 16-18): IB Diploma Programme or Spanish Bachillerato

Kensington is authorised to teach the International Baccalaureate, and students can also take Cambridge English exams (First, Advanced and Proficiency) and the official French DELF exams. Its values programme, ICARE, stands for integrity, cooperation, acceptance, respect and empathy. The school reports a 100% pass rate in the 2026 Spanish university entrance exam (PAU) and 56% A*-A grades at IGCSE in 2026.

Admission starts with a first contact, a visit and guided tour with the admissions team, and open days held from October to March, followed by reserving a place and completing enrolment.
