Brewster Madrid is a K-12 American international school with two campuses in Madrid: Chamberí, in the city centre, and La Moraleja, at Paseo del Conde de los Gaitanes 23 in Alcobendas. It is part of the network of Brewster Academy, founded in 1820 in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire (United States), which opened Brewster Madrid in 2023. The La Moraleja campus opened in the 2025-2026 school year with grades K1 to 11; both campuses are planned to offer K1 to Grade 12.
The school follows an American model. Upper school pathways include:
- American High School Diploma
- Advanced Placement (AP) courses
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, announced for the La Moraleja campus
Classes are taught in English by native-speaking teachers, and students from K3 to Grade 12 also take compulsory Spanish lessons. Brewster Madrid has over 400 students from 45 countries across its two campuses, with 15 to 18 students per class. A university counselling office helps students apply to American and Spanish universities, and boarding and gap-year options are available in collaboration with the Wolfeboro campus. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with an admission decision within two weeks of applying.
