LMI College is a small international secondary school in the Madrid area for students aged 12 to 18. It describes its mission as offering an alternative, inclusive learning environment for students who have not thrived in a conventional school, and it limits classes to a maximum of five students.
Students can follow one of several systems and, according to the school, can change subjects or even system during their studies:
- British system: GCSE (ages 14-16, two years) and A levels (ages 16-18, two years)
- American system: High School Diploma (ages 14-18, four years)
- LMI Diploma, the school's own programme combining elements of the British, American, Spanish (ESO and Bachillerato) and International Baccalaureate systems
The school also has a psycho-educational support service and a university counselling department that guides students through choosing and applying to universities, including in the UK, the United States, Canada and Australia. Families can book a meeting or an open day through the website; enrolment for the 2026-27 school year is open.
