CINEMA - Escuela de Cinematografía y Medios Audiovisuales

CINEMA (Escuela de Cinematografía y Medios Audiovisuales) is a film school and higher-education institution in Puebla, Mexico, at Rosas 236, Colonia Bugambilias. It has trained filmmakers and audiovisual professionals since 2010. Its two degree programmes hold an RVOE (official recognition of studies) granted on 15 July 2025 by the Secretaría de Educación Pública of the State of Puebla.

• Licenciatura en Cinematografía y Medios Audiovisuales (bachelor's degree, 8 semesters, on campus)
• Maestría en Cinematografía (master's degree, 4 semesters)
• Continuing-education workshops and diplomas in documentary, cinematography and film production

The bachelor's degree covers directing, screenwriting, production, cinematography, sound design, production design, editing and post-production. Teaching is project-based: students shoot a production every semester, from a self-portrait in the first semester to a graduation short film in the eighth. The next intake starts in August 2026. The master's degree combines practical and theoretical seminars and focuses on long-form audiovisual projects. Teachers are filmmakers working in the industry, and some short workshops, such as a documentary workshop presented jointly with EICTV, can be taken in person or online.
