Coastal Carolina University (CCU) is a university in Conway, South Carolina (United States), located near a major US resort area. According to the university, this setting, with healthcare providers and international companies nearby, gives students access to research projects and internships for credit. Waties Island serves as a living laboratory for coastal, sustainability and marine research.

CCU's business school is accredited by AACSB and offers programmes such as Hospitality, Resort and Tourism Management. Students can complete a bachelor's degree in three years and add a master's degree through accelerated programmes. Besides degree students, CCU admits international graduate students and exchange students for a semester or a year.

International first-year students apply online or through the Common App and must meet English proficiency guidelines. International Student and Scholar Services supports students after admission. Every applicant is considered automatically for a merit award, and non-resident tuition waivers and in-state tuition through sister-state agreements (with German states, Queensland and Taiwan) can reduce costs significantly.
