Columbus State University (CSU) is a public university in Columbus, Georgia, part of the University System of Georgia. Besides its main campus at 4225 University Avenue, it has the RiverPark Campus on the banks of the Chattahoochee, which houses nursing, teaching, performance and art spaces. CSU offers over 100 degrees and programmes, including degrees, minors, certificates and endorsements at undergraduate and graduate level, with an Honors College, a Servant Leadership Program and global engagement opportunities.

Every student is assigned a certified academic success coach and has access to career success coaches, free tutoring and counselling. Campus life includes more than 80 student organisations and 13 NCAA Division II teams.

International students apply as freshmen, transfer or graduate students, and the English Language Institute offers English preparation. The Center for Global Engagement helps international students with admission documents, visa documentation, scholarship applications and cultural transition. CSU awards over US$3 million in scholarships each year and states that it offers several financial aid options for international students.
