Friends University is a private Christian university of Quaker heritage in Wichita, the largest city in Kansas, in the United States. Its main campus covers 50 acres near the city centre, and it also has the Kansas City Education Center in Overland Park, Kansas. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and, according to the university, is ranked the No. 1 Christian college in Kansas by Niche.
Friends offers more than 60 bachelor's and master's degrees, plus a Doctor of Ministry, in fields such as business, education, the sciences, fine arts, psychology and Christian ministry. International students apply through a dedicated international admissions process. Online and hybrid programmes do not accept international students who are outside the United States, and F-1 students must take at least half of their courses in person. New international students write an English placement essay or take a placement test. In August 2026 the university suspended applications for curricular practical training (CPT).
Every traditional undergraduate receives a scholarship. First-year students live on campus, and the university provides transport from Wichita airport on arrival.

On-campus options are Green Residence Hall (for first-year students), Falcon Flats, Friends Village, the J.R. and Gertrude Smith Apartments and Falcon Glenn. A housing application and a $200 deposit are required, and on-campus residents buy a meal plan. Housing is not guaranteed.
