Wichita State University (WSU) is a university in Wichita, the largest city in Kansas, in the American Midwest. Its 330-acre campus sits on a hill overlooking downtown Wichita. The university lists HLC (Higher Learning Commission) accreditation and has more than 30 research centres and institutes.
WSU offers more than 200 undergraduate and graduate programmes and an applied learning model based on internships, co-ops and mentorships. According to the university, it has 1,600 international students from more than 100 countries.
The Office of International Education handles undergraduate and graduate admission of international students, intensive English programmes and study abroad. The Intensive English Program has seven levels on campus and two online levels for students in their home country. International students can apply online at any time for an undergraduate programme or for the Intensive English Program; the SAT is not required.
