Fundación Politécnica de Cataluña

The Fundació Politècnica de Catalunya (FPC) was created in 1994 by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) to promote lifelong learning for professionals in companies and in the economic and social sectors of Catalonia. It belongs to the UPC Group and has since managed the UPC's wide range of professional development studies. According to the foundation, more than 110,000 professionals have taken one of its master's, postgraduate, specialisation courses or seminars in engineering and architecture.

Lifelong learning is offered through the UPC School of Professional & Executive Development, which runs master's, postgraduate and continuing education courses for people who want to specialise, update their technical knowledge or strengthen their skills in managing teams and projects. Activities take place in buildings such as the Tech Talent Center in Barcelona.

The FPC also runs the Centre de la Imatge i la Tecnologia Multimèdia (CITM) on the UPC campus in Terrassa, which teaches official UPC bachelor's degrees as well as other courses and knowledge transfer activities:
