Grambling State University (GSU) is a public historically Black university (HBCU) in Grambling, Louisiana, in the United States. It opened on 1 November 1901 as the Colored Industrial and Agricultural School, founded by an association of African-American farmers with help from Booker T. Washington's Tuskegee Institute, and took its current name in 1974. The 384-acre campus is at 403 Main Street in Grambling. GSU has 5,010 students and more than 40,000 graduates.

GSU also offers Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing degrees, and graduate study, including master's and doctoral degrees, online, in person and in hybrid format. International students are supported by the Center for International Affairs (CIAP), whose Office of International Student and Scholars Services handles immigration counselling and F-1 and J-1 visas. International students who apply early may receive a partial scholarship for up to four years. On-campus housing includes residence halls and apartment suites.

Financial Aid

International students who apply early may qualify for a partial scholarship grant lasting up to four years. The earliest applicants are considered first, as admission places and grants are limited and depend on available funding; conditions apply.

Housing

The Office of Campus Living & Housing manages on-campus accommodation, including traditional residence halls such as Jewett Hall (a women's residence) and apartment-style suites with one, two or four bedrooms, as well as Steeples Glen. Fees can be paid with traditional dormitory boarding included.
