Nightingale College is a nursing college founded in 2010, with its address in Salt Lake City, Utah (United States). It teaches through blended-distance learning, which the college says gives more flexibility outside class, and admits students in specific state enrolment areas (SOFE areas). Pre-licensure programmes use small clinical groups and high-fidelity simulation, and preparation for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam starts in the first nursing course.

The college offers programmes from practical nursing to nurse practitioner level:

• Practical Nurse (PN) diploma
• LPN-to-ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), accredited by CCNE, in as few as 32 months
• Master of Science in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Applicants first interview with an admissions advisor and then apply on invitation. Applicants with foreign qualifications must have their high school and college transcripts evaluated by an approved credential evaluation company (SpanTran is preferred). Admission includes the HESI entrance exam.

• Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, for applicants who already hold a bachelor's degree in nursing

Both prepare graduates to become advanced practice registered nurses.

Steps, in this order:

• Interview with an admissions advisor
• Meet the requirements in the College Catalog
• Apply and pay the fee after being invited ($150 undergraduate, $80 graduate); valid for one year
• Submit official transcripts of all previous post-secondary study; foreign transcripts must be evaluated by an approved company (SpanTran preferred)
• Submit proof of high school graduation (foreign transcripts evaluated)
• Take the HESI entrance exam

After acceptance: immunisation records, criminal background check, CPR/BLS card, drug screen and mandatory orientation.
