Sydney English House (SEH) is an English language college in Sydney, Australia, registered to teach international students under CRICOS provider code 03679F. Its campus is in the city centre and can be reached by public transport.
SEH teaches two full courses:
- General English, from Beginners to Upper Intermediate, in levels of 12 weeks each
- IELTS Test Preparation (Academic module), for students with at least an intermediate level, with weekly intakes and lengths of 2 to 30 weeks
New General English students take a placement test on Mondays and start class on Tuesdays. Classes run in morning, afternoon or evening sessions, and IELTS groups have up to 18 students. Once a month, General English classes visit places such as the ABC studio or the Australian Museum.
International students apply online, by email or through an approved education agent. Successful applicants receive a letter of offer and then a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), which they use to apply for a student visa.

Successful applicants receive a letter of offer and a student agreement; after signing it they receive a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) for the student visa application, then attend orientation and enrol in classes.
New General English students take a placement test on Mondays and start class on Tuesdays; to move up a level they must pass the level's assessments. The IELTS Test Preparation course requires at least an intermediate level of English.
