Universidad San Jorge (USJ) is a private, nonprofit university founded in 2005 by the San Valero Foundation, a Diocesan educational project that dates back to 1953. Its institutional philosophy is based on Christian humanism. The university is on a campus at Villanueva de Gállego, in the province of Zaragoza, and the school states that it has about 4,600 students.
Teaching is organised in three centres: the Faculty of Communication and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Health Sciences and the School of Architecture and Technology. USJ offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes as well as its own university-specific degrees, on campus and online. Bachelor's degrees include:
- Business Administration, Law, Journalism and Translation and Applied Language Technologies
- Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Medicine and Psychology
- Architecture and Video Game Design and Development
- Artificial Intelligence and Biomedical Engineering
Master's programmes include Applied Artificial Intelligence. The university also has an Institute of Modern Languages, and its educational model is based on personalised attention. Applicants for undergraduate degrees go through a pre-admission process.
