The University of Zaragoza is a Spanish public university, which history dates back to 1542, and is therefore considered to be one of the oldest universities in the world. It is situated in Zaragoza, which is a city in the Aragon region of Spain. However, the school has widened its realm of operation by opening teaching campuses and research centers in Huesca, Teruel, and Zaragoza. It is composed of 22 faculties and ranks among the best public universities in Europe, and is actually the only public university in the region it operates. The institution grants First and Second Level Studies, master’s Degrees, doctoral degrees, and specific courses in the fields of Health Sciences, Sciences, Social and Juridical Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, and Arts and Humanities.
