Universidad Europea de Valencia is a private university and part of the Universidad Europea group, which also has institutions in Madrid, the Canary Islands and Andalusia. It teaches on an urban campus in central Valencia, spread over four buildings, one of them the Turia campus in the former San Juan Bautista asylum, and on a campus in Alicante that specialises in health sciences. Its university clinics in central Valencia, with more than 3,000 m2, are used for student placements with real patients.

Programmes are taught in Spanish or entirely in English. For the Valencia campus the university lists 32 bachelor's and double degrees and 47 master's and postgraduate programmes in these fields:

  • Health sciences, including Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Psychology
  • Sport sciences
  • Engineering, data science, physics and mathematics
  • Business, marketing and international business
  • Law, criminology and international relations
  • Translation and communication

English-taught options include the Global Bachelor in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, a degree in Tourism and Leisure Management and the Global Bachelor's in International Relations. Some degrees can also be studied online or in blended mode. According to the rector, 46% of students on the urban campus come from abroad. Admission requires one of the official routes into Spanish universities, such as the Bachillerato with the university entrance exam or a higher vocational qualification.

Official master's degrees (máster universitario) in Valencia include:

  • Health: General Health Psychology, Sports Physiotherapy, Oncology Nursing, Clinical Nutrition, Advanced Oral Implantology
  • Technology: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Big Data, Robotics and Automation
  • Business: MBA, Marketing, Financial Management, Maritime Business and Law
  • Law: Legal Practice (Abogacía y Procura), Legal and Forensic Psychology, Applied Criminology

The university also offers its own master's programmes (títulos propios), several taught in English, such as International Leadership and Negotiation, and Geopolitics and Global Business Strategy, plus others such as Conference Interpreting.

Admission

To start a bachelor's degree, applicants must meet one of the official routes into Spanish universities:

  • Bachillerato and the university entrance exam (EVAU/EBAU)
  • A higher vocational training qualification (FP Grado Superior)
  • Other official access routes, depending on the applicant's profile
