Universidad Católica de Valencia “San Vicente Mártir”

The Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir (UCV) is a Catholic, non-profit university of social initiative in Valencia, linked to the Archdiocese of Valencia. It was created in 2003 and combines professional training with a humanistic and Christian education.

UCV offers bachelor's degrees (grados) and double degrees in nine faculties:

• Physical Activity and Sport Sciences
• Medicine and Health Sciences, including Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Nutrition and Dentistry
• Philosophy, Literature and Humanities
• Veterinary and Experimental Sciences, including Veterinary Medicine, Biotechnology and Marine Sciences
• Legal, Economic and Social Sciences, including Law, Criminology and Business
• Teacher Training and Education
• Psychology, including Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy
• Canon Law
• Theology

Some degrees are taught in English (Physiotherapy, Dentistry and Business Administration and Management), and several, such as Psychology, Primary Education and Philosophy, can be studied online. Classes have a practical focus, with work placements from the first year, and a guidance service supports students throughout their studies. UCV takes part in the EU-CONEXUS international campus.
