The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) is a technological university in Valencia. It states that the Shanghai Ranking places it first among Spain's technological universities. Its research covers information and communication technologies, industry, agriculture and food, civil engineering and architecture, social sciences and mathematics.

Together with Beihang University, the UPV offers official degrees taught entirely in English at a campus in Hangzhou, China: 4 bachelor's, 6 master's and 4 doctoral degrees. For 2026-27 it is launching 12 new master's degrees, 6 in Spain and 6 in China; some master's degrees have a compulsory English or Spanish language requirement. According to the university, it has arranged more than 151,926 company internships since 1991. The UPV helps students find housing free of charge through a database of rooms in shared flats, homestays and flats to rent, and publishes a list of halls of residence in Valencia.

Housing
The UPV helps students find accommodation free of charge. Its online database lists rooms in shared flats, stays with a family and flats to rent; the university acts only as an intermediary, and the rental contract is agreed directly between student and owner. It also publishes a list of halls of residence and university colleges in Valencia, with places and prices.
