The Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU) is an online university with its main seat in Valencia, at Calle Pintor Sorolla 21. All teaching is delivered 100% online: classes are live and also available recorded, and assessment, final projects and exams take place online, with biometric identity checks for exams. VIU offers bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorates in seven areas:
- Arts and humanities
- Science and technology
- Health sciences
- Education
- Business
- Communication
- Law
Bachelor's degrees are official programmes of 240 ECTS credits; the next intake shown on the degree pages starts in October 2026. Besides official master's degrees (másteres universitarios), the university runs its own continuing-education master's programmes, and its MBA also has an English-taught group. Admission advisers review each applicant's CV and guide them through enrolment. Access requirements depend on where the previous qualification was obtained (Spain, another EU country or a non-EU country), and there is a route for applicants aged 40 or over with relevant work experience. Documents from outside the EU must be sent by international courier. A credit recognition study for previous studies or experience is free, with results within 48 working hours.
