The Università degli Studi di Genova (UniGe) is the university of the Italian city of Genoa. It has more than 32,000 students, including over 3,000 international students of 110 nationalities, and more than 4,300 researchers, of whom over 1,200 are teaching staff. About 5,000 students graduate each year.
- 61 three-year bachelor's degree courses (lauree triennali)
- 7 single-cycle degrees (laurea a ciclo unico), including Medicine and Law
- 60 master's degree courses (lauree magistrali)
- Three-year doctoral programmes, with limited places and some scholarships
- Postgraduate courses, including first- and second-level master's programmes
Fifteen degree courses are taught in English. International students can enrol in a degree or doctorate or come for an Erasmus+ exchange, and the Welcome Office provides information and support; some doctoral places are reserved for non-EU citizens living abroad. UniGe students can also study or do internships abroad through Erasmus+ and other mobility programmes. The university publishes its own books through Genova University Press.
