Università degli Studi di Cagliari

The Università degli Studi di Cagliari (UniCa, University of Cagliari) is a university in Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, Italy. Its founding privilege was signed by Philip III of Spain on 31 October 1620. Today it is organised into 6 faculties and 15 departments and has more than 24,750 enrolled students.

The university also runs Italian language courses for international students.
The ISMOKA office (International Students Mobility Office KAralis) handles Erasmus+, Globus and Erasmus Mundus exchanges, with 728 active agreements worldwide, and supports international degree-seeking students. A number of places in each degree programme are reserved for non-EU students, and from 2026/2027 all enrolment is managed through the UNICA DREAM APPLY portal. A university guesthouse at Campus Aresu hosts mobility students and foreign postgraduate students.
