The Università degli Studi Roma Tre (Roma Tre University) is a university in Rome established in 1992. Its 13 departments offer bachelor's and master's degrees, single-cycle degrees, postgraduate and advanced courses, PhDs and specialisation schools. It is a polycentric campus spread across the city, with its rectorate at Via Ostiense 133, and many of its buildings are former industrial sites converted into teaching and research spaces.
Programmes taught entirely in English include:
- Master of Science in Restoration (Architecture)
- Sustainable coastal and ocean engineering
- Biomedical engineering
- International studies
- PhD in Law and Social Change
Several Italian-taught master's degrees in business, economics, law and telecommunications engineering also have English-taught curricula, and some programmes lead to double or joint degrees with foreign partner universities. Course units in English are open to exchange and Erasmus students. For 2026-27, non-EU applicants living abroad must pre-enrol through the Universitaly portal by 15 September 2026; the International Students Office handles admissions ([email protected]). The university has agreements with housing agencies that offer discounts to its students.
