The Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi (UniMarconi, Guglielmo Marconi University) is an online university with a campus in Rome, established and recognised by the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR) in 2004. According to the university, it was the first Italian university to offer an online teaching model. Lessons are delivered on the MyUnimarconi platform, and exams can be taken at many locations throughout Italy.
UniMarconi offers three-year bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and single-cycle degrees, as well as:
- First- and second-level university master's programmes (master universitari), some taught in English
- PhD programmes
- Teacher training and professional development courses
- Single courses and microcredentials
- A one-year Foundation Course in English
Degree subjects include psychology, education sciences and sport sciences. For international students, the Foundation Course is a pre-university programme taught in English, online or blended, in humanities or science tracks, with 24 ECTS of Italian aimed at reaching B2; it gives access to all UniMarconi bachelor's degrees. Students can request free recognition of previous exams (ECTS), and there is a dedicated procedure for international students with foreign qualifications.

Graduate programmes
Besides its laurea magistrale degrees and PhDs, UniMarconi offers online first- and second-level university master's programmes (typically 60 ECTS over 12 months, enrolment always open), for example:
- AI and AI Agents for Business; Administration, Finance and Control; Anti-Money Laundering Legislation (first level)
- Business Administration, Executive MBA, Corporate Finance and Risk Management (second level)
- Clinical Research and Medical Affairs (second level)
- Taught in English: Business Administration, Banking and Finance, International Management, Interior Design, Fashion Management and Design
Language requirements
Most programmes are taught in Italian; some master's programmes and the Foundation Course are taught in English. The Foundation Course includes 24 ECTS of Italian (A1 to B2) and 6 ECTS of English; to obtain the final qualification students must reach at least B1 in Italian. Students with an official B2 certificate in Italian and/or English can have these credits recognised. Online preparatory Italian courses are available before classes start.
