The University of Central Missouri (UCM) is a public university in Missouri, United States, with campuses in Warrensburg, about 50 miles south-east of Kansas City, and Lee's Summit, plus online programmes. Founded as a training school for teachers, it took its current name in 2006 and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
UCM offers more than 150 majors and academic programmes, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 21 to 1, and over 40 graduate programmes at master's, education specialist and doctoral level. Its four colleges cover Art, Humanities and Social Sciences; Education; Health, Science and Technology; and Business and Professional Studies. Undecided students can join the Exploratory Studies programme for up to two semesters.
According to the university, more than 798 international students and scholars from over 49 countries attend UCM, and there is a study abroad programme. International applicants who are not yet proficient in English can start at the English Language Institute through the Intensive English Program to Degree route, and exchange and visiting students use the same undergraduate application. First-year and second-year students under 21 must live on campus.

- Non-resident undergraduate: $621.80
- Non-resident graduate: $645.00
- Missouri resident undergraduate: $310.90; graduate: $430.00
- CS/CIS graduate courses: $520.00; business graduate courses: $560.00
Rates exclude mandatory, technology, testing, programme and course fees. Estimated out-of-state undergraduate cost for 30 credit hours, including a double room and meal plan: $32,834 per year before financial aid.
UCM requires first-year and sophomore students under 21 to live on campus, with a meal plan, as part of a two-year residency requirement; new transfer students with fewer than 48 accepted credit hours must also live on campus. Residence halls and university apartments are available, and summer housing can be requested.
