The Fundació Politècnica de Catalunya (FPC) is an institution that was created in 1994 by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) with the purpose to offer and promote lifelong training activities for business professionals from Catalonia’s economic and social sectors. In addition, the FPC has organized and managed the professional development programs at UPC. Since its founding, over 80,000 professionals have completed one of FPC’s master’s degrees, postgraduate programs, specialization courses and seminars in engineering and architecture. The FPC is also involved in training activities in the field of multimedia technology. Through the Image Processing and Multimedia Technology Centre (CITM), it offers UPC degree courses in the field, in addition to training programs and knowledge transfer activities.
