Study Abroad @UCV

Study Abroad @UCV is the study abroad programme of the Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir (UCV), run from the university's Santa Úrsula campus in Valencia. The university is a member of the Association of American Programs in Spain (APUNE). Students can follow the Fall Term, the Spring Term, a full year or short summer courses, combining courses taught in English and Spanish in fields such as Health Sciences, Experimental Sciences, Liberal Arts, Sports Sciences, Education and Physiotherapy.

• Fall Term: first week of September to second week of December
• Spring Term: third week of January to end of May
• Summer: mid-June to mid-July

The normal load is 15 US credits (30 ECTS) per term, with a minimum of 12 US credits (24 ECTS). Students are encouraged to take at least one Spanish Language and Culture or Humanities course. Spanish is taught at levels A1 to C1, and the UCV Language Institute organises SIELE exams. The programme also offers internships, service learning in community agencies, schools and NGOs, and a personal academic coordinator.

Services include airport pick-up, housing with host families, medical insurance, a UCV student card, a buddy programme with UCV students, guided excursions and cultural visits.
