The University of Huelva is a relatively young institution, which gained its independence from the University of Seville in 1993. Since then, it has focused on growth, modernization, and research. It is located in Huelva, which is in the south-west corner of Spain. The school offers about 60 different degrees – both undergraduate and postgraduate ones – the areas covered are Business Sciences, including Tourism and New Technologies; Education, which includes both traditional and innovative social programs; Experimental Sciences, which also cover special Environmental courses; a wide variety of Engineering degrees; Law, Labor Studies, Humanities, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, and finally, it is also possible to obtain the Doctor Europeus mention in all the Ph. D. programs.
