The University of Navarra is a private pontifical university, established in 1952 by St. Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer, the founder of Opus Dei. The school is located on the southeast border of Pamplona, Spain, but runs four campuses - Pamplona, San Sebastián, Madrid and Barcelona. It awards 27 official degrees, while also administering more than 300 postgraduate programs. It is comprised of 10 schools, 2 superior colleges, 2 university schools, its graduate business school, the International Graduate School of Management, the Superior Institute of Secretarial and Administrative Studies as well as other centers and institutions. Furthermore, the university governs a teaching hospital called CIMA, as well as various community outreach and volunteer initiatives.
