Asbury University is a Christian university in Wilmore, Kentucky, in the United States, describing itself as a Christ-centered learning community with a liberal arts education. It offers more than 75 degree programmes, taught from a Biblical worldview, at three levels: traditional undergraduate study on campus, online bachelor's degrees and graduate programmes. Examples of fields include communication arts, media communication, engineering mathematics, pre-nursing and, at graduate level, nonprofit management.
International students apply as first-time freshmen, freshman transfers (up to 29 credit hours) or transfers (30 credit hours or more), through the International Admissions office. They need a TOEFL iBT score of at least 80 or an IELTS score of at least 6.5, and must submit a Statement of Financial Responsibility with a bank document.
According to the university, all traditional undergraduate students receive scholarships or gift aid, and 99% of its 2025 graduates were employed or in further study within six months.

International first-time freshmen submit four items:
- The online application
- An official sealed secondary school transcript sent directly by the school, with a literal English translation if needed
- An English proficiency test score (TOEFL or IELTS)
- A confidential Statement of Financial Responsibility and a certified document from the parents' bank showing the current balance in US dollars
Applicants who have studied in English, or whose first language is English, may substitute the SAT or ACT for the English test. Separate requirements apply to freshman transfers and transfers.
International applicants must show English proficiency before they can be admitted: a minimum TOEFL score of 80 (internet-based) or 550 (paper-based), or a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (TOEFL/IELTS school code 1019). Applicants whose first language is English, or who completed secondary education taught in English with at least a B in English, may submit SAT or ACT scores instead.
