Campbellsville University is a private, non-profit Christian university founded in 1906 in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Besides the main campus it has regional centres in Kentucky (including Harrodsburg, Hodgenville, Liberty, Louisville and Somerset), and the university also lists centres in Los Angeles and Canada, as well as fully online degree programmes. It is accredited by the Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award certificates, associate, bachelor's, master's, specialist and doctoral degrees.

The university offers more than 100 undergraduate, graduate, online and certificate programmes, from technical certificates (healthcare, cosmetology, welding) to master's degrees in business, education, music and computing, and doctorates such as the PhD in Management.

International students can apply to undergraduate and graduate programmes, including a graduate business programme aimed at international students, or to the English as a Second Language (ESL) and Intensive English Learning Program (IELP). The main campus has nine residence halls, and students compete in 30 teams across 19 sports in the NAIA and NCCAA.

Admission Requirements

International undergraduate and graduate applicants submit an online application, a housing application, a medical history form, an Affidavit of Financial Support and a bank statement showing funds for one year of study, and send:

  • A copy of the passport
  • Official secondary or higher education transcripts in the original language and in English
  • English proficiency exam scores (or SAT scores for English speakers)
  • A transcript evaluation from a NACES-approved provider (WES for graduate applicants)

Graduate applicants also send a statement of academic goals, a writing sample, letters of recommendation and GRE or GMAT scores; Master of Music applicants add an audition recording and MBA applicants a résumé.

Fees

2026-27 academic year (fees effective 1 May 2026, subject to change): undergraduate tuition is a flat rate of US$14,880 per semester for 12 to 18 credit hours, or US$1,240 per credit hour below 12 hours. Full-time students also pay a US$150 technology fee and a US$100 student activities fee each term.

Housing

The main campus has nine residential facilities. Students must be admitted as full-time students before applying for housing through the student portal, then pay a non-refundable housing deposit and choose their hall and room preferences. The 2026-27 room and board rates range from US$4,884 (North, Stapp and South Hall West) to US$5,920 (Men's and Women's Village); private rooms cost an additional US$2,500 per semester.
