Blanquerna School of Health Sciences - Universitat Ramon Llull

The School of Health Sciences (Facultat de Ciències de la Salut) of Blanquerna, part of Universitat Ramon Llull (URL), trains health professionals in Barcelona. It was created in 1992 as the University School of Nursing and Physiotherapy and took its current name in 2009. The Blanquerna Foundation is a founding member of Ramon Llull University. The school's main building is at Carrer Padilla 326-332, and physiotherapy is also taught at the Martí Codolar building.

Besides these bachelor's degrees, the school offers master's degrees, doctorates and continuing education. Teaching is based on small groups, clinical simulations and tutored seminars, and many of its 164 lecturers work in healthcare. Facilities include clinical simulation classrooms, an anatomy room and a cooking laboratory, and the school has 675 internship agreements. Blanquerna has an international mobility office with agreements around the world and a scholarships and grants service. Applications for admission are made online, in Catalan, Spanish or English.
