Kennesaw State University (KSU) is a public comprehensive university with two suburban campuses in Kennesaw and Marietta, north-west of metro Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States. A member of the University System of Georgia, it is the third-largest university in the state, with more than 51,000 students from over 100 countries, 11 colleges and a Carnegie R2 doctoral research classification.
KSU offers more than 190 undergraduate, master's, doctoral and certificate programmes. Areas of study include architecture and construction management, business, computing and software engineering, FinTech, engineering, education, health and human services, nursing, the arts, humanities and social sciences, and science and mathematics; according to the university, it produces the most teachers and nurses in Georgia.
International first-year applicants need a minimum high school GPA (3.0 from fall 2027), SAT or ACT scores and proof of English, such as TOEFL iBT 79 (or 4 on the new scale) or IELTS 6.0. Students who still need English can enrol in KSU's Intensive English Program with conditional admission. On campus there are 11 residence halls with more than 6,300 beds across both campuses.

KSU also has an Honors college, international programmes and online programmes.
International first-year applicants submit the application with a US$40 fee and:
- Official transcripts with a document-by-document evaluation including GPA (NACES or AICE member)
- High school GPA of 2.5 through summer 2027, or 3.0 from fall 2027
- SAT (500 Reading and Writing, 490 Math) or ACT (18 English or Reading, 18 Math); the CLT is also accepted from fall 2027
- Proof of English proficiency
Transfer applicants need at least 30 transferable semester credits, a cumulative 2.0 GPA and a course-by-course evaluation. Architecture has higher requirements and limited places.
Non-native speakers validate their English with one of these minimum scores:
- TOEFL iBT: 79 (before 21 January 2026) or 4 on the 1-6 scale (from 21 January 2026)
- IELTS: 6.0 (IELTS Academic Online 6.5)
- Duolingo: 115 (writing section)
- PTE Academic: 58; Cambridge CAE: 177
- SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 500 or ACT English or Reading 18
Students who do not yet meet the requirement can enrol in KSU's Intensive English Program and apply for conditional admission to a degree programme.

Through the Flight to Excellence Scholarship, international applicants with exceptional grades and test scores are considered for an out-of-state tuition waiver, which lets them pay in-state tuition rates.
KSU Housing and Residence Life has 11 residence halls with more than 6,300 beds across the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses, separate options for first-year and upper-class students, more than 300 residential programmes a year and 172 live-in resident assistants providing 24/7 support. A waitlist operates when housing is full.
