The Libera Università Mediterranea "Giuseppe Degennaro" (LUM) is a university in Casamassima, near Bari, in the Puglia region of southern Italy. It was founded in 1995 by Senator Giuseppe Degennaro as the Free Mediterranean University "Jean Monnet", obtained legal recognition from the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research in 2000, and took its current name in 2020, when its faculties became departments.
LUM has four departments: Management, Finance and Technology; Legal and Business Sciences; Medicine and Surgery; and Engineering. Programmes include:
- Bachelor's degrees in economics and business organisation, Business Economics and Organization, management engineering, biomedical engineering and nursing

Double degrees are offered with partner universities including Indiana University's Maurer School of Law (USA), Dublin Business School (Ireland), the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (Brazil) and Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Germany). Non-EU applicants living abroad pre-enrol through Universitaly, and students with fewer than 12 years of schooling can take a one-year Foundation Year.
