The Università degli Studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale (UNICAS) is a university in Cassino, in southern Lazio, Italy, with its rectorate on the Folcara university campus. It is organised in five departments:

  • Economics and Law (Economia e Giurisprudenza)
  • Civil and Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical and Information Engineering
  • Literature and Philosophy (Lettere e Filosofia)
  • Human, Social and Health Sciences

Besides its Italian-taught degrees, UNICAS offers bachelor's and master's degree programmes taught entirely in English, dual and joint degrees, and PhD programmes; enrolment for international students for the 2026-27 academic year is open. The online course catalogue shows the semester and language of instruction of every course. UNICAS is a member of the European University of Technology (EUt+) alliance, and its International Office runs Erasmus+ exchanges and welcome services for international students. The university states that it hosts the first District for International Study in Italy. Student housing includes the Janula Residence, with single and double rooms allocated through an annual call.

Graduate programmes

After a bachelor's degree, students can continue with master's degrees (lauree magistrali), some of them taught entirely in English, and with PhD programmes. Dual and joint degrees are also offered, and UNICAS takes part in the European University of Technology (EUt+) alliance.

Housing

UNICAS allocates rooms in the Janula Residence through an annual call. For 2026-27 the call offered 65 places (21 single and 44 double rooms), 6 of them reserved for holders of the DiSCo Lazio regional grant, from 1 October 2026 to 31 July 2027; applications closed online on 15 September 2026.
