Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès (UT2J) is a university in Toulouse, in the Occitanie region of France, specialising in arts, literature and languages and in the humanities and social sciences. It is a founding member of the Université de Toulouse. Its history goes back to the faculty of letters of the university founded in 1229; since 1971 its main campus has been in the Mirail district. The university states that it has more than 30,000 students.

Besides arts, languages and the humanities, it also teaches mathematics and computer science, economics and management. Degrees include the licence, master, licence professionnelle and BUT. On the Mirail campus there are five teaching and research units and four institutes, among them ISTHIA (tourism, hospitality and food studies). UT2J also has sites in four departments of Occitanie, including the IUTs of Blagnac and Figeac and the Ensav audiovisual school, and a presence in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).

International students can come as individual applicants or on exchange (Erasmus or bilateral agreements). A Welcome Desk helps them with practical matters such as housing, and the university has a dedicated office for foreign students.
