Students can combine majors, double majors and minors within an interdisciplinary liberal arts curriculum, and take part in cooperative education placements with employers. Accelerated degree programmes are offered for students combining study with work and family, and transfer students can complete their degree at the Mount.

Undergraduate tuition for the 2026-27 academic year (effective summer 2026), full time (12-18 credit hours): $39,750 per year ($19,875 per semester), plus $665 for each credit hour over 18. A general fee of $1,250 per year applies to students taking 12 or more credit hours, and new students pay a $275 fee. Some programmes have additional fees, and all rates are subject to change by the Board of Trustees.

Incoming students are considered automatically for academic scholarships and awards, which need no separate application and are awarded on a rolling basis, usually from November for the following academic year. According to the university, all first-time, full-time undergraduates in 2024-25 received scholarships or grants. Other aid includes need-based aid, loans and an interest-free monthly payment plan, as well as enrichment awards: $500 per semester for taking part in the arts (MSJ Renaissance), $1,000 per year for first-generation students (Lions 1st Scholars) and $2,000 per year for Mosaic Scholars and Mission Ambassadors.

Students can live in the on-campus residence hall, which is divided into West, East, Southeast and Center sections with single, double and suite rooms; the West Section has co-ed and single-sex floors, the East Section single-sex floors, and the Center Section private restrooms. For the 2026-27 academic year, a West Section single costs $8,020 and a double $6,300 per year, and a Center Section suite $8,880 per year. All residents must take a meal plan, from $5,850 to $6,450 per year in 2026-27.
