It’s the Big Apple, the city of dreams, the skyscraper-filled metropolis where everyone travels to make a name in the world. There are endless delights to be found in New York City. Theatres, clubs, sports bars and music venues litter nearly every street of this urban giant, and if students can’t keep up with the nightlife, there are always day trips to Liberty Island, bicycle tours or historical museums to explore.   3. Colombia University is a private Ivy League university established practically since colonial times. It is the university responsible for bequeathing the Pulitzer Prize and possesses a huge number of graduate schools, colleges and institutes. Its research projects have received international acclaim.
