Bircham University’s Security & Emergency Management program considers the administration and management issues related to commercial security functions and planning, in addition to contract security services, risk management, management of emergencies and loss prevention. It prepares students to make critical decisions and organise all the facets related to mitigation, alertness, response to and recovery from any potential emergency or disaster. It also looks at the security manager's role in personnel management and organisational communication.
