Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is a public university in the Community of Madrid with four campuses: Getafe, Leganés, Colmenarejo and Madrid-Puerta de Toledo. Each campus has libraries, laboratories, specialised classrooms, sports centres, auditoriums and student residences.

UC3M welcomes more than 4,500 international students a year, over 20% of its student body, and offers programmes in English and Spanish; associations such as the Erasmus Student Network help with integration. For the 2025/26 academic year it had nearly 850 agreements with 478 universities and more than 3,500 exchange places, and it is part of the YUFE alliance of European universities. Student services include academic and career counselling, an educational support plan for students with disabilities or special needs, and a programme that lets top-level athletes combine sport and studies.
