Suffolk University’s Government major is designed for people who are passionate about politics. The department’s professors are experts in all facets of government, from global political campaigns to foreign policy, public policy to national policy and diplomacy. Faculty also use their knowledge and connections to guide and support students. Suffolk government majors are taught through practical experience, they get a broad range of experiential learning opportunities. Suffolk’s students work on internships, perform research, work on political polls that achieve national notice, perform as poll workers and work on campaigns. Concentrations in the government program include: American Politics, International Relations, Law & Public Policy and Political Theory.
