The Italian language school "Torre di Babele" is a specialized language center in Rome, Italy, officially authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education. The school was formed in 1984, since when it has been committed to providing Italian language courses in Italy for students from all over the world. The school also offers training courses for teachers. Another noteworthy fact about the school is that it is one of the founding members of the Association of Italian Language Schools in Italy, A.S.I.L.S. The Italian language options available at the school include Intensive Standard Courses, Long-Term Intensive Standard Courses, Italian & Design: Design Speaks Italian, Italian Cooking courses, and are offered all year round. They are all taught by highly qualified teachers in small groups, with a maximum of 12 students. The school also makes sure to offer students an exciting extracurricular program that includes guided tours of Rome, seminars on Italian art, architecture, cinema, literature, politics, Italian cooking and wines. The weekend excursions organized include visits to Pompeii, Naples, Orvieto, Florence and other points of interest in Italy.
