Colorado School of Mines located in Golden, Colorado. Was established in 1874 as a public university committed to engineering and applied science. It has one of the toughest admission regulations in the United States. CSM’s curriculum focuses on utilizing and preserving earth and its natural resources. CSM not only holds pride in fields such as science and engineering, but also has broad experience in resource exploration, extraction production and utilization. CSM has a strong network comprising of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Bureau of Reclamation and the United States Geological Survey, which provides students with rich opportunities to conduct world-class research. CSM also has its own publications, which include Energy and the Earth, Mines magazine, The Oredigger and High Grade.
