The Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies is part of KU Leuven and is housed in the Collegium Veteranorum at Sint-Michielsstraat 4 in Leuven, Belgium. It offers programmes in English from bachelor's to doctoral level, and also awards canonical degrees.
- Bachelor of Theology and Religious Studies (180 credits), with an abridged version of 120 credits or less
- Master of Theology and Religious Studies (60 credits)
- Research Master: Master of Advanced Studies in Theology and Religion (two years, 120 credits)
- Doctoral Programmes in Theology and in Religious Studies
- Microcredential: Academy World Religions and Interreligious Dialogue
The Research Master prepares students to work as experts in Church and society and for doctoral research in theology. The faculty has its own library, the Maurits Sabbe Library, and publishes Theology Research News to share its research internationally.

Applications for the 2027-28 academic year open on 16 October 2026. Deadlines:
- 1 March 2027: non-EEA citizens
- 1 June 2027: EEA citizens, and non-EEA citizens living in Belgium with a valid residence permit
- 1 September 2027: students with a recent KU Leuven degree
Late applications are accepted, but candidates must check that they can still travel to Belgium and register in time.
