North Seattle College (NSC) is a college in the Northgate area of Seattle, Washington, United States. It was established in 1970 and serves more than 12,000 students a year. The campus is linked by a pedestrian and bicycle bridge to the Northgate light rail station.
Many students start at North and then transfer to a four-year university; according to the college, most go on to the University of Washington. Main study options:
- Transfer associate degrees, including evening Associate of Arts and Associate in Business programmes
- Six bachelor's degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in International Business, Application Development and Early Childhood Education
- Associate of Applied Science degrees and short career certificates
- English as a Second Language and an Intensive English Program for international students
- Adult basic education, GED preparation and Running Start for high school students
Classes run on campus, online and in hybrid format, and an Associate of Arts can be completed fully online. North is an open-admission college that generally accepts every applicant. International students apply through the college's International Programs and must take at least 12 credits per quarter to keep their status.

North Seattle College has open admission and generally accepts every applicant. Anyone aged 18 or over, or with a high school diploma or a passed GED exam, may enrol; applicants aged 16 or 17 can submit an underage petition, and adults without a diploma can join the High School Completion programme. Domestic students apply through the Washington State online admissions portal; bachelor's (BAS) applicants then submit a separate programme application. International students apply through International Programs and must take at least 12 credits per quarter.
Tuition for Fall 2026 to Summer 2027 is charged per credit and per quarter, according to residency. For lower-division courses, each of the first 10 credits costs US$136.14 for Washington residents and US$350.12 for non-resident and international students. A 12-credit load, the minimum for international students, costs US$1,495.76 (resident) or US$3,653.06 (non-resident and international) per quarter. Tuition includes the operating, building and services and activities fees; rates are set by the Washington State Legislature and may change.
