The Poyet Method's craniosacral therapy is a therapeutic procedure that UIC include in the list of manual therapies. It pulls heavily from classic osteopathy insofar as construct and biomechanics are concerned, although it has a robust grounding in energetics. An identifying element of the method, is the use of cranial somatotopías to diagnose and confirm the post-treatment. That is, the presence of reflex points located on the bones of the skull and face, which denote all regions of the body.
