Bircham University’s Parapsychology program investigates the reasons that made scientists, philosophers and theologians disregard parapsychology. The program builds on a postmodern philosophy that permits the parapsychological evidence to be taken as a significant discipline. Also, this program identifies several kinds of repeatable phenomena that reinforce the existence of extrasensory perception. Using a non-dualistic examination of the mind and the brain, this program explores different types of psychic evidence: apparitions; cases of possession and reincarnation; messages from mediums and out-of-body experiences.
Subjects covered on this course include: Perception & Knowledge, Mind, Body & Spirit, Esoteric Traditions, Human Consciousness, Extrasensory Perception, Extrasensory Experiences, Extrasensory Deceits, Psychic Communication, Parapsychology, States of Consciousness, Philosophy of Mind & Hypnosis & Suggestion.
