New definitions of health and illness will be investigated as we move into the area of psychosomatic medicine. Students will learn about numerous emotional approaches and their impact on health. Bircham University’s Psychosomatic Therapy program concentrations on the common relationship between the psychosomatic interpretations of physical symptoms and emotional ailments and its role in our mental, emotional and physical health. From a psychosomatic standpoint, the individual is responsible for their own health.
